TESTIMONIALS
Here's What People Are Saying About Our Courses:

As a producer working with both new and experienced bands and session players, the "pocket" has always been an elusive term for some. Pocket has always been something I've just felt and it can be at times difficult to articulate to others in studio situations. What Cam has been able to lay out in this course has not only helped me understand pocket on a deeper level, but it has provided me with new tools to help players in the studio when the pocket needs to be found. Kudos to Cam and the Low End Nation team for a job well done! Look forward to more stellar material.Scott

Low End Pocket Theory is a win!

While going through the different video resources I can say that I was presented with different approaches and ways of thinking about groove and time that I had never thought about before. I’m now incorporating many of these concepts in my playing. Really great stuff!

Really informative and helpful perspectives

I am really enjoying my membership in Low End Nation Bass Lessons. While other sites are either chaotic/overwhelming or too concrete in their approach (e.g., “this is how you play this line”), Low End Nation has a high-yield organized approach. The materials on pocket theory are chock full of insider information from session greats that makes a big impact on your musicianship. I’ve been playing bass for 30 years, and this site is teaching me great tips such as “three keys to the blues” which focuses on hitting the money notes on your lines and solos instead of hacking away on one scale or playing “dad blues” style. Well done Cam and team!

This is a great, well-rounded course for anyone thinking about working as a musician professionally. There are useful exercises that I hadn't come across before, honest insights from a range of different musicians, and advice regarding the non-musical aspects of being a working musician that you wouldn't usually have access to unless you personally reached out and asked experienced musicians yourself.

I think this course has given me some valuable guidance! Cheers

Skills to Pay the Bills Course Review

Although the basics are covered, this course adds a lot insight that I have never heard anywhere else. The pentatonic modes lesson is definitely a game changer. I will be working on mastering all of the materials.
